Voile Curtains and Voile Panels

At curtain fabrics online we stock an extensive range of the very best in stylish and durable voile curtains, with drops from 54” up to 90”.

The voiles are available as single unlined panels with a 2”net pleat heading tape (unless otherwise stated). Net pleat tape is very similar to standard curtain tape but is transparent to make it less obvious and has little channel. This allows the voiles to be easily hung with net curtain wire, café rods or tracks and poles.

The gather normally allowed for a voile curtain is either double or three times the window, dependant on your personal preference. Three times gather gives a neat and regimented finish whereas double gather allows more light through the window.
In order to allow enough gather multiple panels need to be used (see below)

Voiles are used, on the whole, as a stylish alternative to net curtains or blinds. Fitted under curtains and within a window, in order to give privacy, while still allowing plenty of light into the room. They are however a very good alternative to traditional curtains for dressing a window and giving the room a light and airy finish.
